Very good black cloth hardcover in a new $2.50 priced facsimile dust jacket. There is no disclaimer. The covers are clean with some faint smudging. The corners are sharp with some light shelf wear to the points. There is some shelf wear to the edges. The foil label on the front is bright and sharp and the foil label on the spine has dulled slightly due to age. The binding is solid and square and the front and back hinges are free from any cracking. The top and bottom edges of the spine are free from fraying. There are no signs of former ownership inside. There is no foxing (age spots) inside. All the pages are present and firmly attached. There is no writing inside or tears to any pages. Published by Charles Scribner's Sons, New York, New York. Book size is 5.50 by 7.75 inches tall, 355 pages. This is a true first edition, first edition without disclaimer. A new dust jacket (copy of a first edition) is protected in a clear plastic removable sleeve.
