They are black cloth hard covers with colored colored emblems on the front covers and gold titles on spines.  All corners are sharp with no bumping.  All of the cloth covers are clean and mark free.  The dust jackets are in very good ++ condition with only a few very short tears at the top edges of the spines and some light rubbing to the bottom edges.   There are no marks or labels inside or signs of former ownership inside.  All of the maps are in the back and appear pristine and crisp.  The pages are clean and free of any marks or tears.  The slipcase is solid with only some light shelf wear but without any cracking.
