Condition: Near fine dark brown full leather edition with 22KT gold decorations on front, back, spine as well as page edges. Standard Franklin Library quality with silk page marker and decorated end pages. The corners are sharp and undamaged. The gold page edges have dulled a bit with some dust spotting on the top and side edges. There are no stickers or marks inside. There are numerous half page and quarter page monochrome illustrations throughout. Book size 6.25 by 8.50 inches tall, 333 pages. Illustrated in color by Thomas Hart Benton. The 22 page booklet of Collector's Notes is included.
