Condition:  Very good, gray hard covers with the titles in gold on the spines.  The covers have some mild soiling and shelf wear.  "Fredericksburg To Meridian" has some light damp staining to the top stained page edge and some rippling to the cloth on the spine.  There are no water stains to any of the pages inside.  The $27.50 priced dust jackets have some mild soiling but are free from chipping and tears.  There is no writing, stains or signs of prior ownership inside.  The front and back end pages of each volume are decorated with double page color maps.  There are also numerous map plates throughout each volume.   Book size is 7 by 9.75 inches tall.  Total weight of this set is approx. 12 pounds.  The volume titles are as follows:

Volume 1  Fort Sumter To Perryville, 840 pages  1958
Volume 2  Fredericksburg To Meridian, 988 pages  1963
Volume 3  Red River To Appomattox, 1106 pages  1974
