Condition: Near fine, 3 full red leather editions with author's signature in volume 1. Covers are decorated in gold on front and back covers with gilt (gold) page edges all around and are mark free. Corners are sharp and covers are free from any shelf wear. The gold page edges are bright with some marks mostly on the bottom edges. These are standard Easton press quality with cloth end pages and full cowhide leather covers with silk page markers. There are double full page color maps in the front and back of each volume. Book size is 6.75 by 9.75 inches tall. Volume 1 is signed by the author, Shelby Foote,. The collector's notes are included. These are gift quality copies.
