Condition: Very good plus condition, blue cloth hard cover with the title in gold on the front and the on the spine. The covers are clean and unmarked with some light edge wear. There is fraying to the top and bottom edges of the spines. The corners are sharp with some mild bumping. The points are worn through. The tissue guard covering the picture of the Titanic is tear free. There is no sign of former owner inside. The binding is tight and square. The front and back inside paper hinges are free from and cracking. There is no torn or loose pages. The pages have browned a bit due to age. Written by one of the surviving passengers, was released 6 weeks after the sinking. Book size 5.25 by 7.50 inches tall, 301 pages including 5 illustrations. There is no musty or smoke smell. A very nice copy.
